Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 8, 2025
Thank you for choosing PulseXFi (PXFI) QR Code Scanner, developed by PulseXFi (PXFI) Labs (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Your privacy is important to us. This Policy describes how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information when you use our mobile application (“App”). By downloading or using the App, you consent to the practices described below.
1. Overview
PXFI QR Code Scanner is a privacy-respectful tool. The App uses your device camera to detect and interpret codes containing URLs, text, contacts, emails, phone numbers, Wi-Fi credentials, calendar events, and other supported content types. We do not collect, store, or share unnecessary personal data. Any scan content stays local to your device.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Voluntarily
We only collect information you intentionally send (e.g., email when contacting support or feedback). Typically this includes your email and message content only.
B. Automatically Collected Information
The App does not automatically collect personally identifiable information. Limited device data (crash logs or OS-provided diagnostics) may be processed by the OS or store services for technical diagnostics — subject to their policies. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising frameworks in this App, except where noted below.
3. Permissions We Use
Camera: required for scanning codes; all processing is local.
Storage (Android 10 and below): only for saving or sharing generated QR codes.
4. How We Use Your Information
Data you provide voluntarily is used only to respond to inquiries, improve functionality, or communicate important updates. We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for marketing.
5. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data. Because we do not maintain central servers for personal data, scan content remains on your device. Uninstalling the App removes local data.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 14 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age. If you believe a minor provided personal data, contact us at PulseXFiCS@duck.com for prompt deletion.
7. External Links
Scanned codes may direct you to third-party sites. We are not responsible for external site content or privacy practices; review their policies before interacting.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data you provided, or withdraw consent. To exercise these, contact PulseXFiCS@duck.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. Updated versions and effective dates will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use after updates signifies acceptance.

12. Advertising and Third-Party Services
PXFI QR Code Scanner may display advertisements served by Google AdMob or other approved ad networks. These services may use cookies, identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver, personalize, and measure ads.
Data Collected by AdMob
When ads are displayed, AdMob may automatically collect:
- Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID or IDFA)
- App activity and usage information
- Location data (approximate, not precise)
- Performance data related to ad impressions or interactions
We do not control the data collected by AdMob and do not share user data directly with advertisers. All ad-related data collection and processing are governed by Google’s privacy policies.
